Fly Again
A tired bird with broken wing,
Shot down by life, unable to sing.
Fallen from sky, wounded in spirit
Alone, afraid, unable to bear it.
What will happen to me? I cried.
How will I live? Will I even survive?
My life-song lies silent and nearly dead.
Why try to go on? I almost said.
Tender hands touched me. Yes, someone cared.
In time wing healed and bone repaired.
But soul and heart show scars of pain
Afraid to risk, will I fly again?
It's safer to live in a protected cage.
Bars of self-doubt, fear and age
Can stifle courage to unfold wing
And offer excuses for what might have been.
All winter long my friend cared for me
We talked deep words of life's destiny
Just as birds are meant to glide,
Self-love is needed to survive.
Then one day warm, in early Spring
A breeze came up and caught my wing.
Oh no, not yet - I'm not ready to fly
If I crash again, I'll surely die.
My friend shouted fly, fly you must
Spread both wings, in yourself trust
Let in the warmth of truth and light
Soar with eagles, know your might.
As I discovered peace once more
It stirred the music at my core.
My song burst forth in joyous shout -
I LIKE ME!! (That's what it's all about.)

I have been here for a while.
So far, so good.
The counselor has helped me through many circumstances in my life that have been aggravated by COVID.
Excellent professional counselors.
I have recommended these offices many times to other people, though they go to another office than I go to.
Self-care for me is chatting with my therapist. She is great, I LOVE her!!
Today we are celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. It happened because we spent time with Richard learning the tools to make our relationship outstanding.
Nothing comes without hard work, and guidance.
Richard, today my husband and I are celebrating our 33rd Anniversary. We sat in your office 31 years ago at a loss, we had lost all focus on our goal, how to communicate, finding value of the world we create and being an awesome partner.

It has taken 5 weeks but I'm finally getting the announcement cards out. So what do you think, H looks like H or G?
We are having the time of our lives with H, enjoying every precious moment despite the sleep deprivation. We see H as a testimony of our hard work through your guidance and for that we thank you.
It's just amazing to compare where we were when we first sat down with you for our first session to where we are now.
We are truly thankful and overjoyed.
